jaboticaba (plural jaboticabas) The evergreen Brazilian grape tree, Myrciaria cauliflora, a fruit-bearing tree native to Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. Its fruit, purplish-black with a white pulp, which can be eaten raw or used in jellies and drinks.
